Heather S. G. Bruce

Heather S. G. Bruce

Heather graduated from the University of Michigan with High Distinction in 1999 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2004. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Traverse Antrim Leelanau County Bar Association (including the Women Lawyers Association), and the University of Michigan Alumni Association.

In May 2010, Heather completed The Probate and Estate Planning Certificate of Completion through the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, co-sponsored by the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Heather volunteers her legal services pro bono at the Women's Resource Center through her affiliation with the Women Lawyers Association. She is a presenter at various educational seminars and workshops on the topic of Estate Planning.


Courtney J. Marshall

Courtney received her Bachelors of Arts in 2010 from the University of Michigan and graduated from Suffolk University Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2013. Her practice areas include real estate planning, estate administration, preparing Wills and Trusts, and general civil litigation.

Lane T. Plamondon

Lane T. Plamondon 

Lane T. Plamondon is a native of Traverse City, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014. Lane received The Probate and Estate Planning Certificate of Completion through the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in 2017.

Lane enjoys curling in the winter and is a member of the Traverse City Curling Club. He additionally volunteers his time as a board member for HomeStretch Nonprofit Housing Corporation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing affordable housing for the region.

Lane's practice areas include estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate and elder law.

Luke Pickelman, Attorney

Luke has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2009 and specializes in estate planning and general business law. A graduate of Cooley Law School, Luke also has a BA from Michigan State University and a MA from the University of Nebraska. Before moving to Traverse City in 2013, Luke worked in the Michigan House of Representatives and as in-house counsel for the Michigan Community College Association in Lansing. He also is an adjunct history instructor at Northwestern Michigan College.

Peter R. Wendling

Peter graduated from Michigan State University in 1990 and from Detroit College of Law in 1993. Starting in 1982 Peter served our country in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and Army Reserve with an honorable discharge in 1990. He is a Member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association. He is also admitted in the Federal District Court and the Eastern Division of Michigan. Before going into private practice, Peter served as Antrim County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1995 to 1999. He brings over 30 years of experience to our firm. His areas of practice include real estate, municipal/zoning, estate planning, probate/trust administration.

Loretta Davis

Loretta Davis, Paralegal

 Loretta has more than 30 years of legal experience, primarily working in the areas of estate planning and probate law. She assists the firm with case planning, development, and management, legal research, interviews clients and assists in the day-to-day operations of estate planning and probate practice.
